FAQ
What is the required deposit when booking? We require a 25% deposit to secure your wedding date.
Do we get everything you filmed on the day? Yes. However, some minor editing will be done to your full version.
How many photo locations will you go to? We will go to all the locations although we do need to be at the reception centre at least ½ hour before the bridal party in order to set up our equipment.
Are additional lights used during filming? We discuss this issue with all of our couples prior to the wedding and on the day if required. We only use supplemental lighting whenever we believe it is necessary.
What type of attire do the videographers wear? Our videographers are always dressed in smart, formal attire during the filming of your wedding.
Do your videographers require a meal? Yes, since there is no opportunity to leave the reception a main meal is most appreciated. There is no need for an entree or dessert or to provide a table, the reception centre usually takes care of this.
What do we actually get and how long will it run for? What you get is entirely dependant on the package you select or design. All of our packages include the complete day, with some minor editing and come with 3 copies as standard. Most finished videos run for approximately 2-3 hours although this varies depending on your package choice.
Can I choose the music I want for the wedding video? Yes, you can. In fact we prefer it!
What type of special effects can be included in my wedding video? Special effects can include black and white, sepia effects, slow motion, frozen stills, wide screen, fades and dissolves
When will the video be completed and ready for pickup? We try to maintain a two to four week turn around on our wedding videos and DVDs.
How can I pay? You can pay either by cash, bank cheque, or money order.
Terms & Conditions
- It is understood that White Satin Productions is retained as the sole
official videographer for this wedding. With payment of the deposit by
the bridal couple and confirmation of booking by White Satin
Productions, both parties acknowledge their agreement to the terms and
conditions as listed herein.
- The Master tape (including all copyrights) will remain the property of White Satin Productions, who reserve the right to use any part of this video for display, promotional or any other purpose. The Master tape will be retained for up to three months by the studio to facilitate any orders or prints required, and the client has the right during this period to purchase the said Master tape. If at the end of three months if the tape has not been purchased, the studio reserves the right to dispose of the Master tape.
- In the event of postponement or cancellation of the wedding or contract, the deposit is non-refundable.
- Whilst we take every reasonable care with regard to the filming and editing of this video, due to the nature of electronic equipment, any fault occurring in any component or accessories used cannot be attributed to White Satin Productions. In the event of equipment failure or illness, White Satin Productions shall not be liable for any compensation except for the return of the original deposit.
- While every care will be taken with photographs or other material supplied by you, White Satin Productions cannot be held responsible for loss or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- It is the responsibility of the client to inform the Clergy that a video is required at the Ceremony, and that any fees due are met by the client.
- A 25% deposit is required at the time of booking, with a further payment of 50% falling due in the week prior to your wedding. The balance of the payment is required in the form of cash or money order upon receipt of the finished DVD(s).
